What Is It?
Should you feel unhappy with the results of your chosen Dermal Filler procedure for whatever reason, our clinicians can reverse these effects very simply and easily. An enzyme called Hyaluronidase (Hyalase in short) can be injected in order to dissolve the Hyaluronic Acid (Dermal Fillers). Both Hyalase and Hyaluronic Acid are naturally produced by the body. Hyalase breaks down any type of filler over a 24 hour period which makes it extremely fast acting and effective. You must keep in mind that if you feel you need your Dermal Fillers dissolved, you should wait at least 2 weeks before coming in for this procedure as this will allow for any swelling and/or bruising you may have from the initial treatment to subside.
Before this procedure is carried out, one of our practitioners will guide you through everything during a consultation in order to ensure that this is the right route for you. It is possible to experience a localised allergic reaction to Hyalase and this procedure is particularly not recommended to those who have a history of allergic reactions to bee venom. After the procedure, it is common to experience slight bruising, although it is usually very minimal, this can be covered with makeup and fades within a few days following the procedure.
How Does It Work?
Your medical practitioner will begin by apply a numbing agent to the area and will then proceed to inject Dermal Fillers along the mouth to chin lines. Injecting Dermal Fillers into these deep creases along the mouth and chin will cause them to disappear as the area is ‘filled’ which in turn will restore a youthful and full look to your face.
