Skin resurfacing is used to remove the damaged outer layer of the skin so it can establish a new base of skin from underneath. This treatment can help rough and textured skin as well as aid in Pigmentation Removal.

What is it?

Here at The Clinic Room we use non-ablative skin resurfacing to improve the appearance of wrinkles, pigmentation, brown spots and scarring. The skin resurfacing procedure is suitable for anyone who feels unhappy with the current appearance of their skin due to damage caused from previous conditions.

How does it work?

In simple terms, with a laser light generating heat within the skin we’re able to expedite collagen stimulation inside your skin without causing major injury or trauma; this results in the area regenerating itself which leaves you with better texture and more polished skin. You will see an improvement in the treated area as the skin will become tighter while appearing smoother and healthier. The non-ablative laser method is more gentle than other options as the distribution of the heat is fractioned, which allows the skin to heal much faster than in comparison to a non-fractional laser.
