Risks are minimal, however your skin will be red during and post treatment.
What should I avoid post-procedure?
Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area and allow the dead skin cells to flake away naturally. Avoid aggressive serums or creams, hot showers, saunas/steam rooms or swimming in chlorine.
